Power your data-intensive apps without overprovisioning or babysitting.
When demand surges, ScyllaDB X Cloud will handle it.
Milliseconds matter when you’re powering low latency, high throughput apps like media streaming, AI/ML feature stores, fraud detection, social media, payment processing and IoT — and cost control does too.
ScyllaDB X Cloud features architectural enhancements aimed at delivering more flexibility and lower cost. This is a truly elastic database designed to support variable/unpredictable workloads with consistent low latency as well as low costs.
Scale from 100K to 2M operations per second in minutes, not hours. When you add or remove nodes, “tablets” rebalance in parallel. Unlike traditional autoscaling, tablets shift data in seconds while maintaining single-digit-millisecond P99 latency. The result is true on-demand elasticity. Capacity follows real traffic immediately, without overprovisioning for peaks or waiting for sluggish scaling triggers.
You don’t need to scale out prematurely since scaling operations are near real time. Support for mixed-instance-type clusters lets you spin up or tear down instances of any size — add tiny nodes to fill gaps or swap in larger ones for sustained growth. Decommissioning is equally fast and flexible. This lets you achieve predictable performance with less infrastructure.
Flex Credit provides the flexibility of On-Demand pricing at a lower cost via an annual commitment. In combination with ScyllaDB X Cloud, Flex Credit can be a great tool to reduce cost. Reserve your steady-state load at low rates, then spin up additional capacity only when traffic spikes — and tear it down when traffic subsides. Stop overprovisioning, optimize your storage utilization, and only pay for what you need.

ScyllaDB Cloud is the fully-managed (DBaaS) version of ScyllaDB, providing 24×7 management and monitoring for critical production workloads. ScyllaDB X Cloud is the next-generation offering, built on ScyllaDB tablets and designed for maximum elasticity. It enables clusters to scale rapidly in response to changing workloads while maintaining predictable low latencies.
ScyllaDB Cloud manages everything – from infrastructure (VPC and instance deployment and management) to handling hardware failures automatically, with no impact on availability. It also manages TLS certificates, VPC peering, IP-based ACLs, and cluster scaling – ensuring your database stays secure, resilient, and highly available.
The first step is to register or an account. Once you’ve logged in to your account, create a Free Trial cluster and connect your app to ScyllaDB Cloud using the programming language of your choice. You get one free trial per account.
Deployment is supported in the majority of AWS and GCP regions that are commercially available, except for restricted locations like China.
ScyllaDB Cloud incorporates robust NoSQL DBaaS security features to protect data at multiple levels. ScyllaDB Cloud clusters run within dedicated, isolated environments, including dedicated resources such as virtual private service (VPS), VMs for the ScyllaDB database as well as VMs for ScyllaDB Monitoring and ScyllaDB Manager servers. Inter-cluster access is not permitted. The data plane is fully isolated from the control plane. Customer data is limited to the ScyllaDB cluster. The control plane does not store, query, or access customer data. To learn more about ScyllaDB security, see the Trust Center.
ScyllaDB Cloud operates under specific SLAs and commitments to its customers. This commitment is used to guide ScyllaDB Cloud in designing, deploying, and maintaining your cluster, and securing its privacy and availability. SLAs vary depending on the Care Package chosen for the contract.
